Phil Webb is a financial coach with expertise encompassing estate, retirement, business, insurance and financial planning to create investment strategies for individuals, families and businesses. Phil is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative and brings rich experience, multiple professional designations and his “efficient and effective” philosophy.

Phil is recognized by the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils (NAEPC) with the distinctive professional designation of Accredited Estate Planner (AEP)® as well as past service as a national board member. His additional credentials include Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)® and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU)®. He is a national speaker and advisor in the areas of business succession, retirement, and estate planning.

In 2017, Phil was invited to join Matson Money, Inc., a distinct group of Financial Coaches, where he has received intensive training – based on academic investing principles – to provide his clients with customized, comprehensive analysis and portfolio planning.

Leveraging Matson Money’s “Matson Method” approach to investing, combined with his 40-plus years of financial planning expertise, Phil is committed to helping his clients understand and set attainable investing expectations. He advises and coaches clients in setting and tracking their current and lifelong goals, while they can see and monitor their investments and assets in one place.

Phil is active at First United Methodist Church of Fairhope, where he leads his Sunday school class, serves on the Stephen Ministry Team & Finance Team. He is an active member as Club Service Chairman and Past President of Point Clear Rotary Club, where he received their Distinguished Paul Harris Fellow Award for Leadership, in addition to recently being honored with the Cliff Dochterman Award for his distinguished and dedicated service to and as a leadership role model for Rotary and Boy Scouts of America.

As a Cub Scout, starting at 8 years old, Phil began his lifelong involvement with the Boy Scouts of America and earned his Arrow of Light and Webelos awards; then as a Boy Scout earned his Eagle Scout and God & Country awards. He was active with five sons (all Eagle Scouts) and as a Scoutmaster for 10 years, enjoyed the privilege of helping 40 boys become young men as Eagle Scouts. Phil was honored as a Vigil Honor Member of the Order of the Arrow, recognized with the National Outstanding Eagle Scout Award and Silver Beaver Award from the Boy Scouts of America, while serving as President of the Mobile Area Council of Boy Scouts of America from 2014-2016 and continues to be as an Executive Board Member.

“Do a good turn daily” and “Be prepared” are much more than Scouts’ mottoes for Phil and his extended family of Eagle Scouts.

Phil earned a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Management and Finance from Auburn University. After graduating Auburn, Phil served as an officer in the US Air Force as a Deputy Squadron Commander and began his career in financial services in 1975 as a direct result of his experience in the U.S. Air Force as a Management Consultant. He earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU)® and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)® professional designations from American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

Phil and his wife, Theresa, and their five sons and their families all live in and around Fairhope, Alabama, where they enjoy spending time with their grandchildren (seven and growing) and attending baseball, soccer, gymnastics, and dance recitals in addition to hunting and fishing.
